Rare Occurance

Seems I rarely check my xanga anymore, so I shall not be surprised if no one notices I have posted! The holidays have come and gone and were magnificent. The cold of winter has set in. Warren has had his 21st birthday. Laura is soon to have her 19th and then shortly after that Anna will have her 17th. Strange, the way life has its way of traveling on oh so quickly. My youngest child is soon to be the age I was when I left the coziness of home to trek off to Bible School in the city.

One never knows what's around the next corner in life. I guess that's one more thing that makes the awesomeness of God all that more spectacular! God knows and probably what's even more amazing to me is that He cares. At the risk of sounding cheezy, I don't know how to express the deep joy within me. God has been so good to me in my life. I love Him so much. If any of my children read this, know that I love you so much. You are a humungous blessing to me.

Well, moving on now, it is nearly noon, and my stomach is wanting some breakfast. I know this isn't a terribly lengthy post, but hey, it IS compared to any I've posted in the last couple months or so.

April 19, 2007!

Wow, it has been a month since I last posted. The weather is turning beautiful! It's wonderful. Dean & I have been going out in the woods at the South Home cutting firewood. It's fun and really good exercise too. He's out there right now, but I didn't go cuz I've got to get some other stuff done. Hopefully I'll get out there later. The horses really have to work to pull a full load of wood.

HELLO! Just checking. If ANYONE reads this, please make a comment, as I haven't heard any lately. If nobody reads this, maybe I'll hang it up. Um, what's new? I fell off a horse March 11th. Got a mild concussion I guess. In the hospital for 2 nights. Still have a headache a lot of the time. Sore all over. Am very glad to still be here, this side of heaven, even though I know that heaven will be wonderful. Well, if you are reading this, I wish you well. Have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day, Happy President's Day and Spring is on the way!!! Haven't gotten around to posting on here for ages, so have to cover everything in one big swoop. Today is kinda windy out there. Lots of time spent at the shop today. Being a listening leader for somebody tonight at AWANA. Want to get home and make something to eat. Was to Curves today. GLT soon to be sold I think. Hoping to get up north sometime soon to visit my Mom. Have 2 dolls in at my doll class Monday nights, so can start on them next Monday. Need to look at the girl's school on computer. I saw Warren the other night when he was about to go into his job as security guard. Naomi has some exciting things possibly coming up. I'm keeping very busy with day to day life. How am I doing with jamming your brain with all kinds of random thoughts? Went to the dentist today, tried out a new one (new for me, anyway). The dentistry profession has come a long way! It was quite pain free! Amazing. Could go on, but better cut this off and get going. Anybody who makes it this far reading this, congratulations, and I hope you have a great evening.

Wow, Naomi turns 22 tomorrow. I remember being at North Memorial Medical Center in labor for 24 hours. A thunderstorm going on for at least part of that time, Tom going outside and running around the hospital just to keep awake, being so absolutely tired that by the time I was told to "PUSH" I didn't know how! The wonderful words Tom told me that did help me know how to push, words that I shan't type right now, and oh, the wonder of holding that precious new life in my arms. We knew that if our baby was a girl, her name would be Naomi. I love you so much, Naomi Johnson. Happy Birthday Eve!
